Our implemented projects
Requirements for the quality of energy-efficient design of non-volatile ZEB-houses (Wikipedia link) are constantly growing in the modern world. In the design process, the key to high optimal results is primarily the professionalism, knowledge and experience of the team working on the project.

As a leader in the field of energy-saving design, the design bureau ZEB-ua has extensive experience in the design of energy-independent and energy-saving private houses in Ukraine. Working together with the customer, we solve the complex task of building energy independence and offer well-chosen solutions, both in terms of energy saving and in terms of the economic component.
Our services include design, planning, selection, implementation, introduction and maintenance of non-volatile solutions of any level of complexity.

We offer ideal solutions for the organization and construction of non-volatile and energy-efficient homes with zero energy consumption from external networks.
To ensure the achievement of high-quality integrated results, ZEB-ua has its own internal divisions: design, selection of equipment, construction, energy audit, and maintenance of energy-efficient homes.
Energy saving solutions from our company have passed the test of time at many of the objects we have implemented and significantly exceed the standards of requirements that exist today in Ukraine. This all helps us to ensure a consistently high level of implemented projects not only in the framework of energy efficiency, but also in the direction of sustainability. In any task, energy-saving solutions from ZEB-ua will provide the maximum benefit for our customers.

High standards of designing non-volatile houses allow us to help our customers save resources of our planet, reducing the amount of energy used in the construction and operation of the house. Due to the quality of design, our non-volatile solutions are characterized by a long service life and reasonable cost in operating costs.
Since energy-efficient homes in Ukraine and homes with zero consumption from external networks are innovative and advanced, they are in demand among pioneers or innovators.
Ask yourself why buy or build yourself a new house that has already gone out of fashion, when you can order a project or build an energy efficient house in the Dniзкщ, in Kiev and other regions of Ukraine with the most sophisticated advanced technologies, energy saving and comfort in a house with zero energy .

Be a leader in protecting the environment for future generations.
Building yourself a non-volatile home with zero energy in Ukraine, you are among the people who leave a clean planet for their children and future generation

Energy saving in Ukraine, world trends, methods and realities

California intends to put into place a very ambitious goal called Long-term Strategic Plan, it only applies to those homes that will be built according to the standards of energy-saving buildings with zero energy up to 2020, as well as to all commercial buildings by 2030. In California, homes consume nearly one-third of the energy from all consumed in the state, so this stated goal must significantly reduce CO emissions and become an example for all states.
We believe this could be a big step in the future without emission of CO into the atmosphere, at the same time, we are hesitant to fully approve this ambitious plan. It's said that the devil is in details, in this case the details are very important part of how this plan will be implemented.
In June of this year, California announced the adoption of Article 26, Part 6 on the list of standards that will become the next step for energy-saving homes with zero energy in 2020.

Double-value in the price of energy
The new standards will be central to the Code on Building Energy-Saving Buildings with Zero Energy by 2020, this Code will enable us to determine the amount of energy used by the consumer.
The Code for the Construction of Energy-Saving Zero Energy Buildings is when the amount of energy generated by the home energy generated by renewable energy sources will be equal to the amount of energy consumed by the house in the year ... According to the California Energy Commission, which uses the Time-dependent Energy Consumption (SEDM) .
SSEZCH means that energy conservation will be evaluated differently depending on the season, when these savings are accumulated taking into account actual consumption costs for consumers. This tool encourages designers to develop homes that have proven better during periods of high energy prices.
SOSZCH is calculated by multiplying the energy used by the house for each type of energy using the SEM multiplier. These factors range from season, type of energy, climatic zone and type of house. According to David Heslum, Executive Director of Earth Advantage, this method models consumption and energy generation after 2 minutes of increment throughout the year, then we use a weighing scheme every 2 minutes, according to our estimate of time-consuming energy, which we already know.
This allows us to find out that the cost of Kwt in California during peak hours is more expensive than at night. As a result of counting the electricity consumed in this way, a zero-energy energy-saving building built in California can have an average 60% reduction in energy consumption, provided that the building has solar modules. For example, Earth Anvantage's Net Zero certification sets the conditions for at least 90% of the annual energy load to be taken directly on site through photovoltaic cells. California spent too much time to create a subtle intelligence methodology and to determine that the concept of their plan is simple enough.
Mostly, California sets a higher price per kilowatt at peak load than a kilowatt at any other time.
The best way to get a true Zero Energy in the Grid is to design and manufacture a high-performance shell of the entire home, appropriate for collectors, high-performance household appliances and lighting, without applying a weighing scheme that depends on the amount of kWh produced by photovoltaic collectors.

Double-sidedness in the finished zero energy
Another possible ambiguity in the California criteria is that it is still unclear whether it has the full right or no Power Commission in California to require solar modules to be on the roof. While we advocate the design and construction of energy-saving zero-energy buildings, we assume that this could be another vague approach and this could significantly delay progress in the construction of zero-energy buildings in California. Will it become a mandatory requirement for zero-energy houses to install solar modules? Will there be any incentives or incentives for the owners of these houses? There are still many questions.

The same question arises, which standards have been used to define an energy saving home in Ukraine?
Now low energy houses on zero energy are very similar, almost identical. They have very similar design, power consumption and modern technology, but they do not have the ability to do so in homes with zero energy, which themselves produce electricity and consume it.
Already laid down in the California Code all the necessary conditions for the installation of solar modules. It is allowed that 250 square feet of roof space should occupy solar modules along with cable channels that connect the attic with modules, as well as a place under the shield. We will postpone further comments until we see how it will be implemented.
While the goal - building energy-saving homes in the Dnieper with zero energy looks good on paper, the reality is that all the standards they are trying to achieve can be green camouflage. But California could choose a completely different path. If there is not an equal amount of consumed and produced energy in these buildings, then this project needs to give a different name. This would make it possible to avoid confusion in the market without compromising the brand of energy-saving home in Ukraine with zero energy.
We look forward to the adoption of the Code of Energy Standards for zero-energy buildings, both in California in 2020 and in Ukraine.
